Privacy policy
This website asks for your name and contact details only if you apply to join our team or to be our model. Here is what it keeps track of, and why.
What this site collects
- Visit statistics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It uses cookies and records things like your browser, your device, your rough location and the pages you view. It does not tell us who you are. Our web host, Pressable, also counts page visits.
- Your salon choice. If you pick a salon in the bar at the top of the page, your browser remembers it, so the next page shows that salon’s hours. It stays on your device. We never see it.
- Server logs. Like every website, our host keeps standard logs (IP address, browser and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
- Instagram posts. The home page shows our latest Instagram posts. This site keeps its own copies of the photos, but some may load straight from Instagram (Meta), which then sees your IP address and browser. If you click a post, you go to Instagram, and its privacy policy applies.
Applications and consultation requests
When you apply to join the team, apply to be a model or ask for a consultation, this website keeps what you send, including any résumé or photos, and emails a copy to our team. We use it only to review and reply to your application or request, and we don’t share it. To have your details deleted, email hello@lavishhairlounge.com.
Booking, gift cards and the stylist quiz
Booking and gift cards are handled by Phorest, our salon software. The Meet Your Stylist quiz is run by an outside service too. When you use them you are on their sites, and their privacy policies apply. That is where your name, phone number and payment details go, not to this website.
